The Role
Billd is looking for a dynamic, high-performing Performance Marketing Specialist to help plan and implement our marketing and advertising activities across our Supplier Channel. You should have a clear understanding of how a customer moves through a buying process and be familiar with both direct response and branded content marketing. The ideal candidate has experience with customer insights, market research, and analyzing customer behavior and has some exposure to digital advertising platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Google, LinkedIn, display, etc. Additionally, we are seeking someone with excellent communication skills, and a keen ability to communicate complex ideas in simple ways.

The Supplier Channel is a critical channel to scaling the business and needs motivated and creative individuals to tackle the challenge. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who thrives in a high-energy startup environment workplace and looking to take their career to the next level.

 

What You’ll Do
• Work closely with the Vice President of Marketing to execute on daily marketing activities across the company
• Work with our Growth Manager to execute on digital channels like Facebook and Google, among others
• Participate in the execution of social media strategy, content and SEO approach, our podcast #BuiltwithBilld, and video creation.
• Be familiar with managing owned channels including email and organic social media
• Conduct market research and identify new potential opportunities
• Maintain organized notes and tracking of campaign performance and marketing KPIs
• Participate in customer insights initiatives and provide key takeaways to shape messaging and communication

 

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2-3 years of proven work experience in a similar role or at an agency
• Experience in Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, Display, and LinkedIn
• Strong analytical skills but with a keen eye for design
• Meticulous and detailed in everything you do
• Ability to write compelling ad copy across ads and landing pages
• Obsession with understanding and learning what motivates a customer
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Understanding of other digital channels like Bing, Reddit, Quora a plus
• Familiarity with Hubspot a plus

 

Extra Brownie Points if you:
• Have experience using software such as Hubspot, Outreach, or Zapier.
• Have worked in construction or at a construction tech company
• Have worked in B2B lending or at a FinTech company
• Are exceptionally talented at copywriting
• Enjoy shooting and editing smartphone videos for YouTube ads
