Facebook is seeking an experienced global leader to join Business Product Marketing’s Vertical Solutions team leading the CPG line of business. This leader will lead a team responsible for driving global CPG growth by shaping the product roadmap, and defining the integrated go-to-market approach. The successful candidate will have deep industry experience and be a strategic thinker, rigorous analyst, skilled operator, and expert influencer with the demonstrated ability to drive consensus across product, marketing and sales teams. This individual will lead a highly skilled team of Product Marketers to synthesize industry insights and market feedback to shape product development, and collaborate with multiple cross-functional stakeholders to set shared priorities for go-to-market and product. This leader must have significant experience in the CPG industry, and should also be a skilled communicator, innovator and collaborative partner who thrives in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment. Strong executive presence is required to communicate both CPG market opportunities, and our Product roadmap to C-level audiences in client meetings, and on-stage at industry events.


Product Marketing Director, Solutions - CPG Responsibilities

  • Play a primary role in developing the holistic business strategy for CPG

  • Create multi-year, annual and semi-annual plans to drive revenue growth for the vertical

  • Distill market feedback across regions and categories into market intelligence that informs product roadmap

  • Consult with Product teams to help shape future development based on industry needs

  • Develop detailed go-to-market strategies, working cross-functionally with teams around the world in Sales, Marketing, Operations, Creative, Partnerships, Measurement & Analytics

  • Increase demand for Facebook's solutions by occasionally presenting at high profile industry events and in C-suite client meetings

  • Lead and develop a team of highly skilled Product Marketing Managers

    Minimum Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree

    • 12+ years strategy, general management or brand management experience, including 8+ years of experience in digital media

    • Industry knowledge of the CPG vertical globally

    • Management experience including experience influencing leadership, cross-functional teams, and people who aren't reporting directly to you

    • Track record developing future leaders

    • Experience influencing stakeholders and driving resolution

    • Fluency in translating customer and consumer needs into product focus areas and requirements

    • Experience communicating the benefits of various marketing strategies to business audiences

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Masters degree

      • Multinational experience

      • P&L and/or consulting experience
