Role Summary:

CrowdStreet is seeking an experienced, motivated marketing professional to help build the product marketing team for Investment & Wealth Solutions (IWS).

The role will be accountable for developing and championing the IWS product experience, market, and customer needs; and lead the development and delivery of go-to-market programs focused on creating demand and ensuring customers are getting maximum value from our newly created IWS platform.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing (IWS), the Product Marketing Manager for IWS will help bring to fruition the vision for how financial advisors and HNW Investors engage with CrowdStreet from a marketing perspective, inclusive of in-person and digital engagement. The role will partner with marketing colleagues to develop channel-specific programs that drive new advisor/investor growth and support/enrich existing client relationships.

The successful candidate will have extensive distribution-focused product marketing expertise across most owned, earned, and paid disciplines -- ideally from within the alternative investment and/or wealth management industries.

The Success You'll Build—Primary Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Execute multiple aspects of the product marketing lifecycle; from branding and positioning to targeted outreach and segmentation strategy, education and engagement campaigns, and events to drive conversion

  • Work cross-functionally with product, design, brand, communications, support, etc. to launch new products

  • Be the voice of the customer and trusted advisor as to how current and future CrowdStreet user needs and desires inform product messaging, brand differentiation, marketing content, and external comms

  • Develop specific go-to-market plans and integrate offerings into marketing campaigns

  • Measure and report against the performance of product marketing initiatives

  • Analyzing user data, customer insights, and market research to define product positioning

  • Reducing complex information into distilling themes that are easily communicated/understood to HNW Investors

  • Influencing behavior at variety of levels in the organization, including cross-functional managers

  • Demonstrating product marketing experience within the fund distribution and fund management space, contributing at strategic and tactical levels

  • Applying analytical skills—using data to build and present ongoing reporting to key stakeholders

  • Fund Distribution—serving as a subject matter expert within the financial services category

  • Managing highly interdependent, complex projects and keeping various work-streams on track

  • Effectively communicating to stakeholders at all levels of the organization—from the end user (technical buyer) to the decision maker (economic buyer) - with excellent written, oral, and presentation skills

  • Launching GTM marketing campaigns

We operate in a hybrid work model. You can work from home in any of the 27 states where we currently have team members. You can work from our HQ in Austin, TX. Through our partnership with Industrious, we also provide access to CrowdStreet-paid, local co-working spaces.
