We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager supporting the Data Intelligence (DI) portfolio in the design and execution of key product marketing initiatives for Analytics and Data Intelligence. This individual will participate in strategy and development of new offers in addition to supporting existing offers. Key initiatives include evaluating/ quantifying market and market opportunity, pricing, sku management, sales enablement, development of sales assets, market segmentation, reporting and launches. This individual will need to work cross-functionally and effectively engage The DI Engineering team, Demand Generation, Sales, Customer support, Corporate Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure market growth and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Data Intelligence team as lead for product marketing
  • Strategize and implement the next generation of outcome based Data Intelligence offers
  • Collaborate on a marketing plan for Analytics portfolio, including market sizing, segmentation, key plays and strategies for increasing market share and retaining/expanding existing customers
  • Understand the competitive dynamics of targeting, positioning, pricing, packaging and differentiation for assigned portfolio
  • Manage Data Intelligence presence in product material Data Intelligence
  • Contribute to the DI Offer strategy -Stand alone and bundling efforts
  • Drive value and overall bundling of Analytics with existing Software offers
  • Drive inclusion of Analytics into new offers- Ensure Verticals are aware of Data Intelligence strategy for inclusion and that proper allocation is being considered and reviewed
  • Create Product Marketing content for Data Intelligence and work Data Intelligence content into the solution portfolio
Experience and Skills:
  • BS/BA required, advanced business degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of software Product Marketing experience
  • 3-5 years experience with Data Intelligence and Analytics
  • Experience and a track record of driving adoption, growth, retention and results
  • Proven record of thriving in a matrixed environment with the ability to drive initiatives to completion through other people without having direct supervisory responsibility
  • Strong Excel skills for analyzing and reporting on data, use of power pivot or other data tools a plus
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and mental acuity
  • Exceptional ability to write and create product content; able to write quickly and concisely for non-technical audiences
  • Proven influencing skills with senior leadership, working cross-functionally and with clients/prospects
  • Self starter, creative thinker, excellent listener and communicator
  • Proven record of thriving in fast-paced and matrixed environment
  • An understanding of the nonprofit market and Blackbaud’s solutions a plus
