Senior Communications Manager

Realtor.com is looking for a Senior Communications Manager who has a talent for translating and celebrating what’s happening in our dynamic business for all employees, and can also pivot to creatively and strategically extend the power of those stories to prospective talent. It’s a colorful palate and we are looking for your artistry to bring it to life.
As a successful candidate, you will bring passion, curiosity, and a strategic mindset to communicating about our business, and where we’re headed as a company, to both current and prospective employees. You will play an integral role in informing and engaging diverse employees across all organizations and sites with our company mission, strategy and values, and the internal news of realtor.com. You will develop internal stories about our company, innovation, philanthropy, and people, and creatively infuse them into our narratives across all our talent channels. You have a passion for seeking and implementing the latest technology and best practices to deliver compelling employee communication and foster deep engagement.
What You’ll Do:
• Produce compelling, relevant omni-channel content and stories rooted in our company purpose, strategy and priorities; continually experiment with content to drive engagement and business impact.
• Develop and implement thoughtful, innovative and engaging communications that build community, enable change, and bring our mission, strategy, and values to life.
• Support the execution of business and organizational change, by developing strategic communications campaigns that educate, inspire and evolve individual behavior.
• Constantly work to create authentic and engaging social/digital moments that help connect leaders with employees, and employees with one another, across the company
• Strengthen the realtor.com employer brand by communicating our unique employee value proposition to candidates through impactful content, stories and programs, delivered across offline and online channels.
• Leverage listening tools, analyze insights, and iterate communications plans and business messaging accordingly, with an eye toward continuous improvement.
What You Need to Succeed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.
• 10-12 years proven success guiding strategy and execution of digitally-driven communications that inform and delight employees.
• Demonstrated ability to strategically counsel and influence leaders on strategy, messaging and engagement opportunities to drive pride, passion and advocacy for our company.
• Outstanding communication and story-telling skills, including exceptional writing and editing, acute attention to detail, and high bar for quality.
• Experience/exposure to re-purposing compelling employee stories and content to amplify your company as an employer of choice.
• Familiarity with “state of the art” communications, collaboration and social networking tools and platforms, and passion for continuous learning in these areas.
• Balanced view and ability to exercise strong and sound judgement.
• Organized, detail and process-oriented with strong project- and time-management skills, and able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize between key deliverables.
• Highly collaborative; ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
• Energetic, go-getter, positive attitude and a great teammate!
