The Opportunity
Rapid7’s North America Growth team acts as an engine to fuel demand for Rapid7 solutions through marketing programs that nurture the buyer through from prospect to customer. This role will be a key participant in delivering campaigns to market that resonate with our target market that ultimately inspire action. The ideal candidate will be able to think strategically and also be comfortable executing the tactics.
The Role
You are a curious person who has experience building marketing programs that drive pipeline for sales organizations. You are customer centric, placing the experience of the buyer above all. You're metrics obsessed and have familiarity with the B2B marketing funnel dynamics. You are an engaged problem solver and you’ve demonstrated the ability to think strategically, partner cross-functionally and drive complex programs to conclusion. In this position yoou will:
Plan and manage Rapid7’s acquisition marketing strategy including webcasts, email, and programs to generate and drive net-new, high quality leads through the funnel
Partner closely with the Customer Excellence and Success teams to manage Rapid7’s expansion marketing strategy, identifying the right offers and campaigns for customers
Support Rapid7’s thematic campaigns working with product marketing, campaigns and the broader team on strategy, content, messaging, and execution
Support and manage Rapid7’s webcast programs, including topic and content creation, multi-channel promotional efforts, and follow-up plans with the business development team
Manage relationships with third party demand generation vendors and partner with product marketing and subject matter experts to ensure sponsored programs are utilizing the correct messaging and all deliverables are completed in a timely manner
Understand the impact of your programs, including program results, ROI, and ways to optimize.
About You
3 years of experience in a demand generation role, preferably in B2B
Proficient with marketing automation tools (Marketo preferred) and digital strategies to drive demand
Security industry experience and knowledge of the SaaS technology landscape preferred
Exceptional project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally, with multiple stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
Experience managing a variety of third party vendor relationships
Ability to measure and report on campaign performance to support overall marketing goals
Creative thinker, passionate about demand generation and marketing automation
