What You'll Do
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Communications Manager to join a dynamic marketing team in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This highly creative, collaborative subject matter expert will create compelling content to increase brand awareness and engagement to generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities, requiring an editorial mindset and strong communication skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Define and create inbound content-driven marketing strategies and plans based on company-wide goals that support and optimize marketing initiatives
- Write and edit top-quality content pieces for integrated campaigns, such as ebooks, solution briefs, white papers, blog posts, website/email copy, video scripts and storyboards, customer case studies, thought leadership pieces, etc.
- Partner closely with the demand generation and product marketing teams to execute on shared campaigns, producing high-quality content to build brand awareness, increase thought leadership and support funnel goals for leads and conversion among specific, targeted accounts and contacts
- Clearly articulate and ensure a unified and consistent brand message is communicated to internal and external audiences
- Build and manage a comprehensive content library
- Develop and execute marketing communications plans to increase website traffic and engagement
- Implement a content editorial calendar that incorporates an integrated go-to-market strategy
- Develop an ongoing cadence of content performance measurement and reporting across publication channels to inform optimization efforts
Who We're Looking For
- Highly skilled storyteller, writer and editor with creativity and imagination and a strong attention to detail (work samples will be required)
- Clear, persuasive, and compelling writing style which drives education, awareness and creates engagement and action across all identified personas
- Strong understanding of SEO and experience developing content for the web that improves keyword rankings, drives web traffic and delivers leads
- Excellent interpersonal and project management skills and ability to prioritize project workstreams
- Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines
- Collaborative approach and ability to iterate based on analytics and input from sales, product and partner teams
What You'll Need
- 10+ years experience in writing, editing, content marketing and strategy, and go-to-market execution
- Ability to effectively tell stories and engage customers with relevant content.
- Strong foundation in marketing campaign strategy, SEO, content creation and marketing, and performance measurement.
- Ability to manage the entire content lifecycle in a deeply collaborative setting.
- An established track record in developing and scaling robust content strategies and content, from start to finish.
- Excellent editorial writing abilities especially outlining and writing long-form content, editing and proofreading with focused attention to detail.
- Ability to lead, organize and prioritize multiple projects and requests simultaneously.
- Skilled in data-driven decision making to continually optimize and improve content assets and usage.
- Proven understanding of performance metrics and industry benchmarks by channel and format, and how concept and distribution tactics impact those benchmarks.
- Experience working with a content management system, blog platforms, and Google Analytics to publish, maintain content, and measure results.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and functional groups in a corporate environment.
