Senior Marketing Manager at Q2
Q2 is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to work closely with the broader Marketing and Sales teams to lead integrated campaigns and programs to drive revenue growth. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, executing, and optimizing audience-centric campaigns and programs that focus on new prospects in new and existing accounts. If you are a demand generation professional, with proven track record of building integrated, impactful marketing campaigns that generate quantifiable results, then this is the position for you! This position will report to the head of Marketing Campaigns and Programs.
Define, plan, organize and execute marketing demand gen programs, in association with sales, to drive sales-ready leads and pipeline
Work with Q2 sales teams to ensure program success through tight lead management, achieving lead goals, pipeline targets, and tracked influence on closed-won deals
Provide best practices to sales teams, including tools, scripts and other resources to support effective follow up with specific types of leads
Coordinate integrated campaigns with Project Managers, external agencies, associations, analysts, consultants
Build a strong working relationship with sales leaders and sales teams, enabling sales success
Capture insights and feedback from sales partners/leaders to continuously improve marketing efforts
Understand competitive offerings, build competitive response programs to win in market
Track and understand sales performance, how marketing is driving success, and working with sales on best methods to achieve sales bookings targets
Differentiate between LOBs and corporate messaging to drive the right message to the right personas on financial institution buying committees with the right assets, channels and programs
Stay up-to-date on current industry trends in marketing, banking and fintech
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Advertising or related field
8+ years’ full-time experience in B2B demand generation, fintech, or banking
Previous experience in digital marketing and social media marketing in the B2B space preferred
Understanding of B2B product marketing and product management preferred
Must have ability to quickly build a strong understanding of Q2’s go-to-market strategy, the Q2 sales process, and the process buyers go through in selecting and buying software. Excellence in metrics and measurement of demand gen campaign success is key.
Demonstrate exceptional communication/presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Understand Q2’s target customers, their pains, and how Q2 is uniquely suited to help them
Understand competitors and their offerings, and ability to position Q2 to win against them
Strong project and time management skills required to efficiently move between work places and multiple, concurrent projects
Communications and interpersonal skills – ability to build strong working relationships with sales teams and leaders
Prone to action, results focused, KPI focused
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
