Senior Marketing Operations Manager at Blackbaud
The role of the Sr. Marketing Operations Manager is to focus on streamlining marketing automation processes, marketing databases, and system performance. The role is tasked with establishing repeatable processes and programs that are efficient and effective to optimize and create an agile marketing automation model. We are looking for a problem solver, team player and relationship builder with an experienced understanding of SaaS marketing operations.
Marketing Automation – 5+ years marketing automation systems knowledge (Marketo Expert Certification preferred), including backend admin expertise, marketing lead lifecycle management, revenue cycle management, lead scoring, Salesforce synching, partitions, segmentation, data management, data hygiene, list import standardization, data normalization, and reporting.
Martech management – Direct experience managing and developing marketing automation tech stack integrations, including administrative management of Marketo, Salesforce, Bizible and all associated 3rd party vendors (SnapApp, Swoogo, ON24, iCapture, Uberflip, etc.).
Database management – Manage database hygiene and optimization; develop/execute strategy for monitoring and improving gaps in data health and Marketo/Salesforce performance, including de-duplication, list import standardization, demographic/firmographic enrichment, etc.
Governance & Compliance – Fully versed in CASL, GDPR, CAN-SPAM, PII and Data Compliance regulations.
Comfortable working directly with various stakeholders across the business (i.e. Sales Operations, IT, Salesforce Admins and Demand Gen Teams) to identify, troubleshoot and correct any lead flow attribution issues.
Workflow process development, optimization and documentation – Dedicated to championing new approaches that build efficient, scalable, repeatable, and measurable processes and analysis for supporting marketing automation programs. Ensure that all relevant data points are captured during marketing execution to properly track ROI.
Develop new reports and dashboards that highlight critical data and uncover valuable insights on marketing activities, effectiveness, and business impact.
Training & Platform best practice adoption – As a subject matter expert you will act as primary liaison with stakeholders to educate on system and campaign governance, best practices and training.

- Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Business or equivalent combination of education and experience
