Overview
The Khoros Strategic Services team is looking for a passionate and innovative thinker ready to bring the power of human connection into every interaction.
We are seeking a talented senior paid social strategist to join our growing team. The Senior Paid Social Strategist will be responsible for helping support Khoros customers with long-term social strategies to meet their desired project goals and unlock all potential value through social and digital channels.
This individual will serve as the overarching strategic lead on some of our largest customers responsible for overseeing team operations across the planning, operations, implementation, optimization and reporting of large scale paid social advertising campaigns and social strategies. Experience in Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and LinkedIn is a must. Familiarity with Pinterest and Snapchat are a plus.

The budget for this role is up to $115k base salary range with a 15% Variable Bonus. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience and may differ ( +/- ) from the amount listed.

  • Lead a team of social media coordinators, strategists, and analysts for daily paid campaign management which includes: managing the staffing and resourcing for execution, implementing a process to ensure flawless campaigns and error-free reporting, coordinating campaign launches, budget management and optimization, maintenance of analytics, and a regular cadence of tailored reporting.
  • Engage with customer senior leadership to uncover their organic and paid social needs, scope out the required level of support that is aligned to these needs, and successfully present a proposal.
  • Providing insights from social conversations for relevant insights and opportunities to engage.
  • Scheduling staffing resources to ensure consistent coverage on accounts.
  • Answering customer inquiries competently and efficiently, coordinating with internal teams when necessary.
  • Guiding analysts and strategists with the coaching necessary to plan, forecast, and report on social media marketing and care programs. Manage outcomes against a set of defined business goals and KPIs.
  • Reviewing and analyzing paid and organic content for optimization and strategic opportunities to improve.
  • Managing and mentoring associate strategists and social media coordinators by facilitating opportunities to grow and accomplish professional goals.


Qualifications
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years in the social media space or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
  • At least 3-4 years of demonstrated experience with developing data-driven paid strategies and owning campaign execution, optimization, and reporting deliverables on behalf of a brand or media company.
  • Experience with native social media ad management platforms, including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and more.
  • Experience optimizing and reporting on paid social campaigns including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
  • Facebook Blueprint certification preferred.
  • Candidates ideally have former agency or big brand experience.
  • Experience working with advertising platforms across the major social networks.
  • Ability to rapidly assess, analyze, and resolve complicated issues independently, even with little initial information.
  • Demonstrate initiative and independence, is consistent and dependable.
  • Works well within highly collaborative, multidisciplinary teams with many moving parts; highly developed sense of teamwork is a necessity.
  • Excellent project management and organization skills; ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize based on customer needs
  • Ability to manage and analyze large data sets, work in Excel, and create and build meaningful charts and reports.
  • Excellent editing and proofreading skills; ability to think critically about content in context of brand messaging, goals, and voice.
  • Ability to manage multiple personalities and communication styles, empathize with team members, and successfully navigate interpersonal communication to create and maintain a positive team environment.
  • Outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills required.
  • Regulated industries experienced is a plus.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English or other languages is a plus.
  • Minimal travel may be required.
  • Occasional evening and weekend coverage may be required.
