The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on the combination of defining addressable markets, identifying areas for growth, evaluating pricing models, understanding customer pain points and creating sticky value propositions. We’re looking for a decisive leader who leverages industry insights, data, and creative problem solving to drive product adoption, revenue growth, and commercialization strategies.
You will partner with our Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Finance and Analytics teams to lead commercialization and GTM strategy, while influencing the roadmap for a highly visible emerging product line.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with key stakeholders to accelerate the execution and refinement of the product vision through a clear understanding of consumer/customer pain points and perceptions
Drive the business case behind new partner and product initiatives to influence stakeholder alignment and prioritization
Develop a nuanced understanding of value drivers to recommend structural pricing and packaging changes as needed
Quickly become an expert on multi-family property managers’ buyer personas, segmentation, rentals industry trends and the messaging hooks that drive pipeline and revenue growth
Become the subject matter expert on http://realtor.com’s evolving rentals listings offerings and the quickly evolving industry landscape
Distill complex data, market trends and research into compelling ideas for how our products can continuously improve and deliver more value to customers, consumers and our business
Conduct market and competitive analyses to inform product strategy and positioning
Develop and enhance product positioning and messaging frameworks in support of new product launches; effectively communicate value propositions to customers, internal partners and frontline teams
Define success criteria, provide insights and direction, gather feedback, and laterally influence functional stakeholders to ensure effective go-to-market strategy implementation
What you’ll bring:
- Ability to thrive in the fast-paced and ever-changing environment is a must
8+ years of professional experience in the multifamily property management industry or B2B tech, including at least 5 years in Product Marketing, Strategy or Management Consulting
MBA preferred
Prior SaaS experience preferred (understanding of value drivers in SaaS subscription / recurring revenue business models)
Strong understanding of measuring performance through metrics and KPIs with the ability to tell a rich story through data
Self-starter with an incredible work ethic and team first mentality
Strong organizational skills and ability to own a project start to finish
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical skills: comfort with data analysis, modeling, and presenting quantitative insights
Attention to detail and organization is paramount with a continuous desire to learn and improve
Proven track record of delivering to schedule and to results
