Senior Product Marketing Manager
Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing
Full-Time in Austin, TX or New Orleans, LA

Levelset is looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our team and further our mission to help contractors get what they earn. 

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will develop a deep understanding of our customers and use that insight to develop messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies that drive user engagement and adoption. The ideal candidate can work with stakeholders across departments to build consensus and successfully drive projects forward to meet outcomes and objectives.

On an average day, you may interview customers to better understand their needs, develop the go-to-market strategy and project plan for a new product release, develop messaging that is used to drive demand or conduct competitive intelligence to give us a better understanding of the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Levelset in the market
  • Own go-to-market strategies for our product suite and drive the execution of launch plans
  • Contribute to the product development process through a deep understanding of what the customer values
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and execute programs that raise awareness and generate leads
  • Work with product managers to identify needs and sharpen product offerings based on our competitive landscape and feedback from customers
  • Work with sales enablement and customer success to build content and tools to communicate product value propositions, enable internal and external teams, drive user adoption and retention
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure all relevant teams across the organization are kept informed of go-to-market activity
  • Track competitive and market intelligence, distill and share insights across the broader organization
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our product suite

 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, preferably within a software company or for a company within the payment or construction industry. 
  • Track record of crafting and executing go-to-market plans from research to concept to launch and adoption
  • Ability to translate technical functionality into key messaging that effectively conveys the benefits to end-users
  • Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform both on the tactical and strategic level
  • Strong project management skills
  • Bachelor’s in marketing or related discipline
