The rundown:
As Studio’s SEO Team Manager you will lead a team of SEO Specialists who support a portfolio of ecommerce clients, representing over $1.5 million in annual billing. You will also serve on the Studio leadership team, helping steer our strategy, boost our culture, and grow our book of business.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned search marketing pro with extensive SEO expertise. We want someone who has spent time in the trenches and will gladly join their team there when needed. You have personally crafted SEO strategies, including keyword research and mapping, on-page optimization, content strategy, and link acquisition. You love talking shop and coaching others.
Must have 4+ years SEO experience and 1+ years experience managing a team of professionals in an agency setting.
You will:
- Lead a team of SEO specialists and interns, including two SEO Team Leads
- Spearhead SEO department growth
- Work with Studio leadership to elevate the agency
- Conceptualize and launch new services and evolve existing ones
- Work closely with parallel Services teams (Social Media, PPC, Shopping Feeds, Design, Project Management) and Volusion’s internal Marketing team
- Be accountable on company projects and take leadership on new initiatives
- Thrive in a collaborative team of passionate search marketing specialists
- Assist our Sales Consultants in attracting new SEO clients
- Present to the team, company, and at relevant events
