About the Position: Rev is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our growing marketing team. As our first full-time social media marketing hire, you’ll have the opportunity to give our brand a voice and help lay the groundwork for our social strategy. Your role will be to help expand our company’s digital footprint, awareness, followers, and leads.

Who we’re looking for: You’re equal parts creative and analytical. You’re just as comfortable crafting “punny” social posts as you are analyzing KPIs to understand the effectiveness of our social media channels. Attention to detail, strong writing skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously are a must.

What you’ll do: Your primary responsibility will be the day-to-day management and growth of our current social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube. You’ll collaborate with our Content Marketing Manager to post blog content through WordPress and distribute via our social channels. You’ll also work cross-functionally with other teams at Rev including support, product and our marketplace team.

This position reports to our Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Daily posting on all major social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook)
    • Monitoring all social channels for feedback, any support related inquiries, etc and responding in a timely manner
    • Engagement with partners, thought leaders and community members and participating in related industry conversations and topics (requires research and a strategic thinker)
    • Working with other teams on any corporate presence at events, meetups, hackathons etc., to develop a social promotion strategy
  • Generation of unique campaign ideas and programs to drive brand awareness and support demand generation initiatives
  • Promotion of all blog content on social channels
  • Uploading blog content to WordPress and optimizing for SEO

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism or related field
  • 1-3 years experience in social media marketing or community management
  • Creative writing experience is a plus
  • Eagerness to learn and share best practices and new trends in the social space
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Think critically about content in context of brand messaging, goals, and voice.
  • Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
  • Creative thinker
  • Self-starter and desire to work with an agile, fast-paced team
