Job Summary:

Spredfast is looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager to amplify the Spredfast brand across organic and paid social channels. This role will be responsible for increasing awareness of the Spredfast brand within our target audience, driving traffic to our owned properties, and increasing preference of the brand by building prospect interest and MQLs. The ideal candidate has a strong background in organic social media management, copywriting, content creation, and paid marketing strategy. The position requires a deep understanding of strategic capabilities across established and emerging social networks, and the role that those channels play within the digital marketing ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present comprehensive social media marketing campaigns to support product launches, events, marketing initiatives, and overall MQL growth
  • Grow engagement, reach, and conversions through proactive organic and paid campaigns
  • Monitor and optimize all campaigns to continually improve results
  • Analyze social media performance and provide suggestions for content refinement based on gathered data
  • Write engaging social copy across all channels that drive results
  • Plan and manage the social editorial calendar, social objectives, and publishing cadence
  • Collaborate with the design team on the development and production of original social content (images, videos, GIFs, infographics, live video, etc.)
  • Provide editing oversight to contract social copywriters, interns, and other team members to ensure that all social copy matches the brand voice and conveys Spredfast as a market leader
  • Moderate conversations happening across all social channels to drive loyalty and connection within our community by engaging authentically, answering questions, and routing comments to Support or Social Selling when appropriate
  • Monitor trends through our social listening platform to identify RTM and engagement opportunities, as well as to surface relevant topics that could inform our content strategy
  • Synthesize additional social data analysis to provide relevant insights that can guide the social media efforts and integrated marketing strategies
  • Deliver competitive and audience analyses to address key social media challenges and identify future opportunities

Requirements:

  • B.A. or B.S. required
  • 3+ years of driving social media management for a brand
  • 2+ years experience copywriting/writing for the web
  • Demonstrated experience in managing social media campaigns on behalf of a brand or media company
  • Experience with Excel pivot tables
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • A strong understanding of best practices, benefits, and nuances of key social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google+ and Snapchat).
  • Experience developing and executing compelling social media content
  • Ability to manage day-to-day social efforts while keeping an eye on long-term vision for goals and growth.
  • Passionate about all things social; demonstrate an eagerness to learn and share best practices, new trends, and major developments in the social space.
  • Experience working with advertising platforms across the major social networks.
  • Enthusiasm for and willingness to grow in all facets of social media management including marketing, social care, content strategy, content creation, measurement, and account management.
  • Occasional evening and weekend coverage may be required.
