What is Spreetail

Spreetail is an ecommerce company that currently operates VMInnovations, a multi-marketplace retailer that sells thousands of awesome products through major marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, and Walmart. Spreetail is currently in the middle of building something big, new, and exciting due to launch in 2019 with a simple mission: to make customers’ lives better through exceptionally fast service, great products, and community impact.

Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, Spreetail has recently expanded into two new offices based in Omaha, NE and Austin, TX with rapidly growing teams. We currently have hundreds of employees across the company, and are searching for crazy smart, talented, visionary people.

As a Senior Copywriter, you will:

• Produce creative and engaging long-form content to support brand and product initiatives for Spreetail.com. Your writing will effortlessly guide readers towards product consideration, purchasing, and/or sharing.
• Contribute to eCRM messaging, along with display & print ads, and additional campaign requests.
• Play an integral role throughout the content lifecycle, including topic research, pitching, drafting, and editing, along with editing team members’ work.
• Understand the importance of SEO and being able to seamlessly integrate best practices into your writing.
• Own the editorial calendar and organizing ongoing team brainstorms.
• Execute writing requests with accuracy, producing zero errors in work and ensuring content across all channels is customer-focused and supports traffic and conversion.
• Have an intuitive understanding of the Spreetail brand voice and the ability to nuance messaging across audiences and channels.
• Reports to: Content Lead
• Manages: Web Content Editors & Digital Copywriters. Edits editors’ work, provides feedback, and ensures writing meets our team’s standards.
