Facebook seeks a leader to head the Business Product Marketing Growth organization and drive the go-to-market strategy for our advertising solutions globally, including Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and other new products. The best candidate must have experience closely partnering with sales and product leaders on successful product revenue or product and solution adoption programs in a fast-paced, high-accountability Internet or online marketing company. This thought leader will also represent the full product roadmap and suite of product and solution offerings to external marketing executive clients and partners in an effort to drive product understanding and marketing product adoption across the Facebook family of apps and services.

Success in this position requires a strong understanding of the advertising market, Facebook’s advertising products, a focus on client service and the ability to successfully manage a large, globally-distributed team in a cross-functional, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience influencing executive stakeholders in the organization, including product and sales leaders around the world. At the same time, the leader of this product marketing team will need to be a strong, hands-on operational manager who is able execute against business objectives while growing and developing teams and individuals. This person must be flexible, a cross-functional team player comfortable with a fast-paced, often ambiguous, environment. This is a full-time position will be based in our New York, NY, Austin, TX, San Francisco or Menlo Park, CA offices.


Vice President, Business Product Marketing, Growth Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-performing team across multiple global regions

  • Set product and solutions adoption goals, establish KPIs and mentor regional product marketing leaders to deliver on team and company objectives

  • Partner with Sales Leadership and Product Marketing Managers to set goals, develop activation strategies, track and analyze performance, and drive adoption of our advertising solutions

  • Effectively communicate with sales leadership to distill and surface market feedback to product teams for new and existing advertising products

  • Inspire action through data-driven insights and execute with operational rigor and efficiency

  • Shape innovative internal training programs to educate the sales force on a growing portfolio of advertising solutions

  • Partner with Marketing Communications team to develop and drive go-to-market strategies through various channels (including PR, events, conference opportunities, digital, etc.)

  • Drive best practice creation and implementation of solutions

  • Align executives in all go-to-market functions to educate and inspire our sales teams and partners, drive solutions adoption and create business value

    Minimum Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent

    • 15+ years experience in technology or advertising

    • Product marketing experience in the web technology sector and demonstrated experience contributing at strategic, operational and tactical levels

    • Experience presenting to large groups/C-level executives

    • Proven record of mentoring and leading a diverse team across geographical regions

    • Track record of influencing behavior at variety of levels in the organization, including cross-functional leaders

    • Customer service orientation and experience in a client-facing capacity

    • Demonstrated experience driving resolution in the context of competing perspectives
