The VP Marketing at AffiniPay will be responsible for all aspects of marketing strategy and execution across our direct, affinity and partner channels. You will be in charge of a team of enthusiastic marketing professionals and will direct our marketing efforts towards our mission of Transforming the way Professionals get paid. This role reports into the Chief Growth Officer of the company and will be a critical member of the senior leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- “Listen” to the trends of the market and customer insights to be at the pulse of our professional customer across our 3 core segments (Legal, Accounting and Associations)
- Define marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives with primary accountability for our new customer acquisition goals.
- Run a high volume marcom and content program creating extraordinary and highly personalized creative that delivers to our brand promise and vision.
- Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (product development, branding, communications etc.), and ensure they project the company’s unique “voice”
- Assess and optimize marketing spend based on a data-driven ROI approach by campaign, channel and brand
- Manage a team of event professionals that support 300+ conference and tradeshow events annually
- Manage our Affinity team who drives and supports over 150 alliance partners
- Continue to develop our marketing tech stack and data intelligence assets as competitive advantages to the company.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a VP Marketing or similar role delivering measurable growth in a b2b environment.
- Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.)
- Inspirational leader of both creative and analytical marketing talent
- Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods
- Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
- Understanding of key tools/methods including Salesforce, Adwords, Marketo and ABM
- Track record of creating win/win partnership
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to represent our brands externally
- MA in Marketing, Management or similar relevant field
- Direct experience working in or selling to professional services is a plus
