Khoros is now seeking a Vice President of Product Marketing. To be successful as the Vice President of Product Marketing for Khoros, you are a dynamic leader and manager who is both analytical and creative. You have a vision for where to take the Khoros platform to drive revenue, reach new audiences and retain existing customers. You thrive on the combination of assessing pipeline and revenue trends, defining addressable markets, evaluating pricing models AND creating sticky value propositions, headlines and inspiring sales presentations. You will be the voice of the customer to the business and the voice of the business to our market; you can translate complex technology into compelling and provocative stories that drive demand and customer love.

 

You are a confident front-of-room presenter and can effectively synthesize information into what matters most to your audience. You have a proven track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams to achieve measurable success. Ultimately, you’re a driven, self-starter who is able to deliver high-quality marketing and sales enablement materials through your team. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop GTM strategy and oversee platform messaging and positioning that generate pipeline
  • Coach, mentor, and develop the product marketing, market intelligence, analyst relations, and customer advocacy teams 
  • Understand and track performance metrics by solution and buying center across the portfolio, and ensure team alignment towards these metrics  
  • Quickly become an expert on buyer personas, digital communities, the CXM market, Social KPIs, industry trends and the messages and hooks that drive pipeline and revenue 
  • Drive strategy and support the team in enabling and fueling the sales process, such as sales presentations, competitive briefs, FAQs, etc. 
  • Provide oversight to Product Marketing managers during product launches and provide visibility into these launches to the Marketing Leadership, Senior Leadership, and Executive teams 
  • Identify different use cases of our evolving product capabilities, craft messaging articulating these use cases for customers, prospective customers, and internal teams. 
  • Build trust with sales, customer success, and customers on a regular basis to continuously vet differentiating positioning and refine as needed 
  • Provide ideas/input back to Product Management to help continuously improve the product and keep the company informed about customer feedback and data gathered in the field 
  • Interact with senior leaders at customer and prospect accounts to provide best practices, industry trends and thought leadership reinforcing our current and potential partnership. 
  • Speak at events, webinars, customer events, and other industry events
  • Work closely with the CMO on executive-level marketing initiatives including, but not limited to, acquisitions, pricing and positioning, strategic announcements, etc. 

Qualifications

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing market environment is a must. 
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and lead the company in a vision rooted in outside-in thinking
  • Proven ability to be the subject matter expert on a platform and the competitive landscape
  • A fluency in product performance metrics and product marketing best practices
  • 12+ years professional experience in Marketing including 3+ years in Product Marketing and at least 3 years leading a team of 5+ professionals with varying levels of experience 
  • Prior experience in B2B marketing; SaaS (understanding of value drivers in SaaS subscription / recurring revenue business models) and experience marketing multiple product lines preferred 
  • Contagious enthusiasm about digital customer engagement, social media, digital marketing, messaging and communities and their combined power to change the game of customer engagement  
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Attention to detail and organization is paramount with a continuous desire to learn and improve 
  • Proven track record of delivering to schedule and to results
