VP of Media Planning, Buying, and Strategy
Realtor.com is looking for a VP of Media Planning, Buying, and Strategy to lead our media buying and planning efforts across paid marketing. You will bring your deep knowledge of marketing strategy and tactics, as well as a suite of measurement best practices that drives continuous improvement in the overall effectiveness of our marketing budgets both above and below the line.
Responsibilities
- Drive the marketing media strategy for all video and above the line (TV, Digital, TVE, CTV, Programmatic, OOH, Radio, etc.)
- Work with internal analytics specialists to drive measurement programs across all channels, then turn our learning into action by adjusting media plans to maximize business impact.
- Continuously learn and optimize.
- Expand our marketing programs into new and novel forms of media that allow realtor.com to convey its message of personalized choice into high reach, low competition media.
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers, and become the expert in targeting tactics for below the line advertising, as well as above the line tactics that drive efficient and effective reach.
- Lead the Brand Media team.
- Work with our media buying agency to continuously improve the effectiveness of our TV, TVE, OOH, and radio campaigns.
- Bring our deep buying expertise to actively manage our agency, propose media changes and tests that drive further above the line marketing effectiveness to raise awareness of our brand AND drive quality visitors to our site.
- Lead a nimble, data driven, digital marketing programs that take full advantage of the tools and capabilities in youtube, facebook, tiktok, and the full suite of programmatic partners, to reach the right customers, with the right message at the right time.
- Collaborate with creative and integrated marketing teams to launch seasonal and promotional marketing campaigns and measure their effectiveness.
- Work with our creative team and agency, head of integrated marketing, and your direct team, to design and executive high impact integrated marketing campaigns.
- Drive learnings through hypothesis driven, measurement focused campaigns that lead to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 12+ years in media buying, planning, and/or strategy.
- Agency-side and/or major consulting experience strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience leading high-performing teams
- Ability to clearly articulate a set of principles and best practices that drive world class outcomes for above the line and below the line media.
- Strategic and consumer centric thinker that loves to solve customer problems
- Data driven and analytical at your core.
