Merchandising Coordinator, Rings Merchandising, Remote - Brilliant Earth

Position Overview:
We are looking for a bright, motivated Merchandising Coordinator to join our Rings Merchandising team and support the strategic growth of our Bridal business. The ideal candidate is a jewelry enthusiast with a strong passion for product and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will play a key part in driving product lifecycle and launch initiatives, leveraging a keen eye for design, a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, and exceptional attention to detail. As a Merchandising Coordinator, you will collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Design, Production, and Planning, providing data and insights to shape the future of our business. You will also work closely with Ecommerce and Marketing teams to ensure the product experience comes to life across all customer touchpoints.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Run regular business reporting to evaluate product and category performance, including growth, mix and profitability.
  • Support team members across all stages of the product lifecycle from line plan to launch, assisting on collection briefing, design brainstorm, costing, and downstream product launch initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with ecommerce and marketing counterparts to support site merchandising decisions, such as product recommendations and featured imagery.
  • Conduct competitor reviews to monitor competitor pricing, promotional and product introductions.
  • Participate in the product development process, partnering with category merchants to build product assortments that support sales and growth plans
  • Maintain accurate SKU attribute and pricing information.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, including production, operations, marketing, and site merchandising to launch new product and drive category performance.

Specific qualifications include:
  • BA degree or equivalent, preferred
  • 2 years of analytical experience or corporate merchandising experience in a consumer-based retail environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to synthesize data in Excel through the use of pivot tables and lookup functions to understand business trends and provide forward-thinking insight.
  • Extremely detail oriented and exceptional time management skills and accountability
  • Strong ability to work individually and as a team player to execute projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a flexible environment
  • Entrepreneurial attitude/self-starter
  • Interest in socially and environmentally responsible organizations and products
  • A curiosity and appreciation for product, jewelry, and design
  • Experience with sales and data management software; experience with Domo, NetSuite, or similar, a plus
