Administrative Assistant (Front Desk)

What You'll Do
- Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate. Will transfer a caller to an associate's voice mailbox when the associate is unavailable
- Monitors visitor access and issues badges when required
- Greets and directs visitors to the company
- Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel
- Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information
- Receives, sorts, and forwards incoming mail. Maintains and routes publications
- Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of office supplies
- Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and collating
- Responsible for maintaining allocated budget
- Responsible for organizing and maintaining the office and ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for employees
- Working with vendors and assisting with contract renewals
- Working with vendors to ensure we are obtaining the best possible service and rate available
- Working with vendors to ensure they are maintaining their contractual responsibilities
- Responsible for ordering catering as needed
- Performs other duties as needed
- Manage special projects as needed
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Previous administrative experience preferred
- Proven ability to manage time
- Ability to complete tasks independently and within a set deadline
