About the Role

CrowdStrike is looking for an Administrative Assistant to help with day-to-day operations of the company. The successful candidate is proactive, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

We are open to candidates in one of our West Coast Office Locations: Sunnyvale, CA, Irvine, CA, El Segundo, CA or Kirkland, WA. We are also open to remote candidates based in the West Coast/Mountain Time Zones.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support for multiple VPs across varying time zones.
  • Actively manages and maintains schedules and calendars for department VPs.
  • Organizes and schedules team and cross-functional meetings; may be asked to take meeting minutes and track items for follow-up.
  • Organizes and manages logistics for offsite meetings: sources hotels, manages room blocks, schedules team building activities, assists with travel, catering, etc.
  • Builds rapport within the organization and positions self as the first line of defense for all inquiries; routes questions to the appropriate individuals and works with others effectively to exchange information.
  • Actively engages with VP’s and their direct reports to ensure alignment of priorities and open communication paths.
  • Schedules domestic and international travel in compliance with existing policies and procedures; proactively addresses all aspects of travel such as security and threat levels, currency, weather, culture and locale to ensure VP’s effective use of time and resources to promote productivity.
  • Prepares expense reports and assists with other expense-related issues.
  • Manages requisition and purchase order requests.
  • Performs general administrative activities including screening and directing incoming email, composing and typing general correspondence.
  • General research and presentation preparation as needed.

What You’ll Need

  • Prior administrative experience
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Flexibility to perform job tasks outside of job description when necessary
  • Demonstrates confidence, composure and professionalism
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Effectively manages projects, meets deadlines and reprioritizes as needed; follow through on commitments
  • Communicates clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, with attention to detail
  • Interacts and communicates effectively within assigned function and with the larger administrative team
  • Works with general instructions on all work; works as part of a team 
  • Delivers professional customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Handles confidential and sensitive information and displays discretion in organizational and management-level matters
  • Exercises sound judgment
  • Quickly adapts to change
  • Knowledge of general office administration procedures
  • Performs successfully in a fast paced, dynamic environment

  • Prior experience providing support to senior level management - or equivalent
  • Experience in a high-tech, startup, or a company experiencing rapid growth
  • Cybersecurity industry knowledge
