As the Agile Director you will report to the Executive Vice President of Product and Engineering. The Agile Manager will lead Agile transformation efforts, guiding a team of Scrum Masters and Program Managers while building cross functional support for Dealerware’s agility strategy. They are culture champions and role models for collaboration, customer obsession and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.
As the Agile Director, you will:
● Lead a team of five Scrum Masters and one Program Manager by providing direction and day-to-day guidance, establishing goals and direction, providing needed resources, training, and performance management
● Build credibility with business partners by demonstrating thought leadership and creating a path to agile maturity
● Promote adherence and participate in the development of agile standards, tools, processes, and procedures across the organization
● Collaborate with and influence all levels of the organization to empower and enable teams to execute agile principles effectively
● Help identify organizational impediments to successful agile transformation and work with the leadership team to create effective strategies to overcome them
What you can bring to the team:
● 6+ years of hands-on experience practicing and evangelizing scrum, kanban and other agile methodologies
● 3+ years of experience managing direct reports
● A passion for building high-performing teams
● An ability to influence others and build consensus
● An empathetic communication style that values bringing diverse perspectives to the table
● Experience coaching individuals and teams across all levels within the company
● Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with and present to a variety of audiences including executive leadership
