Business Development Channel Manager at Q2 (Austin, TX)
The Q2 Enterprise Business Development organization has a new career opportunity available for a Business Development Channel Manager. This key individual will be ideally situated in a “new business” development role responsible for identifying and cultivating strategic distribution partnerships for ClickSWITCH, Centrix, BaaS, Gro, and Cloud Lending products within Q2. This candidate will work closely with Sales and the broader Business Development team to drive distribution of Q2 technologies, assets and solutions into Fintechs and Financial Institutions driving greater revenue opportunities for Q2.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience specifically within the Fintech and Financial Services space, and have the ability to secure strategic distribution partnerships. Candidate will work closely with internal and external constituents to drive meaningful 3rd party revenue through outbound distribution efforts.
Q2 is excited to meet candidates that will add value to the organization through previous Business Development “Channel Management” experience having managed and developed distribution (reseller) partnerships in the broader Financial Services space.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with internal Product and Sales and teams to identify, prioritize and procure strategic distribution partnerships
Establish and grow multi-tiered business relationships between important distributors, resellers and systems integrators which guides the partner to preferred commitment around Q2 products, technologies and services
Create revenue forecasts, generate “go-to-market” strategies and launch processes
Manage entire partnering process and effectively negotiate distribution agreements to closure
Manage existing portfolio of Channel Partners to maximize yield and generate growth
- 8 + years’ B2B Business Development “Channel” management experience
- Previous experience in Fintech, Financial Services and Banking Software required
- Demonstrated previous responsibilities in Channel Sales/Distribution within SaaS at the enterprise level; experience managing relationships with large regional and national reseller partners ideal
- Proficiency in using Microsoft tools – PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong influencing skills and ability to build relationships both internally and with partners
- Previous experience building relationships with C-level executives critical
- Superior communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize as needed
- Able to travel up to 25% of the time based on demand
