Channel Operations Analyst II
The Channel Operations Analyst II is responsible for managing partner facing operational processes. Focus areas include reviewing and approving deal registration, new partner enrollment, and analyzing channel performance for the focused region. The Channel Operations Analyst II role supports Forcepoint Channel Account Managers and works with Channel partners’ sales team and Forcepoint internal sales team directly. It is a process oriented, channel-facing and sales-facing role. This role will be located in Austin, Texas and reports to Channel Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Manage deal registration requests from channel partners globally
- Process new partner enrollments. Ensure data accuracy for all partner records
- Manage channel program benefit. Administer partner benefit such as rebates and demo equipment
- Track partner revenue attainment and training requirements. Review and track partner tier upgrades
- Report performance metrics and prepare data for both internal and partner facing quarterly business review
- Responds to channel inquiries coming into the partner mailbox.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in channel operations
- Work with IT and other departments on channel projects as needed
Soft Skills
- Process oriented. Use channel process and policy to solve business issues effectively
- Accuracy skills required. Comfortable with using Excel
- Ability and personality to communicate status, risks, and formulate solutions
- Ability to build business relationships with channel partners and Forcepoint internal stakeholders
- A confident self-starter and fast learner
- Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years customer service, channel operations, sales operations, analytics/reporting or related experience
