Job Summary

We are seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join our growing team. Reporting directly into the Chief Technology Officer, the CIO is a pivotal member of our leadership team with overall responsibility for the enterprise application and IT teams.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for establishing, upgrading, maintaining, and supporting the enterprise applications including financial and HR systems.

  • Create and implement IT policies, protocols, and standards.

  • Ensure that IT, IS, and network infrastructure adequately support the company’s computing, data processing, and communications needs.

  • Work closely with Finance, HR and other corporate functions to ensure that their business requirements are implemented timely and that their user experience expectations are met.

  • Work closely with security and regulatory teams to ensure adherence, proactive actions, and compliance at optimal cost.

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies that can improve enterprise application and IT performance.

  • Select and manage relationships with external vendors and consultants working on enterprise applications and IT.

  • Develop, track and ensure adherence to the enterprise application and IT budgets.

  • Ensure that department strategies and processes provide appropriate support to company-wide goals.

  • Communicate roadmap, risks, and fallback plans to the rest of the organization.

  • Manage, grow, and optimize a great team with emphasis on teamwork and technical knowledge.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering or relevant field required; MS/MA/MBA is preferred.

  • Should have participated in at least one end to end enterprise application upgrade exercise involving financial systems and HR systems.

  • Experience in managing enterprise systems and infrastructure in a services ecosystem.

  • Expertise and experience in managing cloud-based infrastructure ecosystem.

  • Expertise in planning, budgeting, evaluation, and implementation of IT/IS initiatives with the ability to estimate total cost of ownership and cascading consequences of implementation.

  • Collaborative, strategic thinker who leads with honesty, transparency, and vision.

  • Demonstrates a continuous improvement and forward-thinking mindset.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to articulate technology impact to business customers at all levels.

  • Ability to attract, retain, develop, and motivate high quality professionals.

  • Health care experience is strongly desired but not mandatory.
