Job Summary

The Client Success Manager will be responsible for supporting ActiveProspect’s contracted clients. The Client Success Manager will build scalable solutions to proactively engage and educate our clients about our product offerings. This person will be an expert in our product offerings so they can guide the client in receiving the highest return on their investment. The main objective of this role is to demonstrate ROI to the client in every interaction. This is an ongoing client relationship management role, focused on providing sustained and increased value to our clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain solid industry knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of all of ActiveProspect’s products and services.
  • Effectively articulate value propositions, create interest and generate excitement through proven and proactive client management strategies.
  • Build, leverage and sustain relationships with client and internal teams to maximize adoption and retention.
  • Identify risks to client success and aggressively/proactively engage the client whenever there’s an identified retention issue.
  • Be a voice for accounts internally and help senior leadership understand product concerns, shortcomings, and missing features that are retention risks; translate business needs of the client into product recommendations for the development team.
  • Track client opportunities, activities and projects to ensure meaningful engagement.
  • Leverage company resources and executive relationships to win business as a team, minimizing churn and ensuring contract renewals.
  • Be a trusted advisor to our clients by having a pulse on what matters to them and know how to solve their challenges.
  • Accurately forecast and achieve revenue goals by identifying up-sell opportunities and potential losses based on needs of the client or new product feature roll outs.
  • Successfully manage the onboarding process, in conjunction with Implementation Engineers, shortening the length of onboarding, ensuring a smooth experience for clients and internal teams

Qualifications and Skills

  • Self starter with a drive to succeed
  • Proven track record of positive client relationships
  • Enthusiastic presenter, calm communicator, and ability to easily mitigate problem escalation
  • Ability to speak with clients about business issues and provide a solution using our technology or industry knowledge
  • Clear and succinct communicator. Distill complex issues into their basic points through investigative questioning and creative problem-solving.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent analytical capabilities to breakdown complex technical tasks into executable and measurable steps
  • Creative problem solver, able to accomplish goals through a variety of processes and tools
  • Ability to iterate quickly, and proactively provide new solutions to ever-shifting problems
  • Strong technical aptitude with the capability of explaining our products, being aware of ongoing product improvement
  • 1-3 years of Client Success experience
  • Experience working for a Software as a Service (SaaS) company

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Computer Science, Communications, Psychology or similar degree preferred
