  • The Cloud Business Applications Administrator reports to the Manager of IT Enterprise Programs and is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of the Cloud (SaaS) applications that the company uses to run its business.  This position will perform two different functions:

     

    • Cloud Application Administration.  This includes configuring, administrating, monitoring, and troubleshooting of SaaS applications to ensure that they are operating securely and reliably per best practices.  Also, administrate SaaS application integrations with other systems to ensure they are operating correctly and securely.

     

    • Cloud Application Functional Management.   Perform functional management of SaaS applications in support of day to day business operations.  Includes business management tasks such as content management, project and workflow management, data organization, data input/output, reporting and analytics.  These tasks will be performed for the applications that the IT organization is functionally responsible for such as Jira, Jive, Domo, and ServiceNow.

     

    This position will work closely with all areas of the business, including the functional managers in other organizations who manage the Cloud applications used to support their organizations.  Expect to work with engineering, sales, marketing, finance, services, etc in support of the company's overall SaaS application landscape.  Successful candidate will draw on their years of applications management experience to bring new ideas and rethink possibilities as we build and expand our business application environment.  This role will be in a fast-paced environment and the candidate is expected to become self-sufficient within 3-6 months.

     

     Job Responsibilities:

     

    Cloud Application Administration

    • Configure, update, administrate, maintain, and monitor SaaS applications
    • Troubleshoot application issues; work with vendor support organizations as appropriate
    • Ensure the security of the application and its use per security policy and best practices
    • Manage user onboarding/offboarding and user access governance for each application
    • Monitor license utilization and work with business units ensure efficient use of licenses
    • Manage data backup and disaster recovery activities
    • Ensure changes are made in accordance with the corporate change management policy
    • Assist with maintaining Cloud architectural standards and roadmap for the company
    • Assist with the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new SaaS business applications as well as integrations with other systems
    • Work closely with other organizations to optimize the applications for evolving business needs

     

    Cloud Application Functional Management

    • Workflow design and management, content management, process flows, space and group management, data organization, data import/export, project management, reporting and analytics
    • Map business requirements into solutions within the application
    • Manage day-to-day business activities within the application
    • Act as the subject matter expert for the application; help and support other users within the application
    • Develop educational and training materials for users

     

    Required Skills:

    • 3-4 years experience in business application administration and functional management. 
    • 2 years experience administrating and integrating Cloud-based applications.  Salesforce, SpringCM, Workday, Domo, Box, Jira, and Jive experience is a plus
    • Solid understanding of business applications and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
    • Ability to learn new applications quickly
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting and quickly resolving issues
    • Fundamental knowledge of HTML and CSS
    • Familiarity and experience with continuous delivery model
    • Demonstrated good judgment in the selection and implementation of business solutions
    • Ability to professionally and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
    • Team player that clearly communicates both written and verbally
    • Ability to work on problems of significant scope independently
    • Ability to describe technical topics in a non-technical manner
    • Truly enjoy delivering IT solutions and a strong desire to see the continued acceptance and success of those solutions at SailPoint
    • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience
