Compliance and Risk Manager

ePayPolicy is looking for someone to join our team who’s motivated to solve hard problems—the more complex the better. As a Compliance and Risk Manager, you’ll have a broad range of responsibilities as you develop and maintain effective regulatory compliance controls, program governance, risk management, and process improvements. We strive to operate a world-class payment processing platform free of payment failures and fraud, and are searching for an experienced compliance and risk manager to achieve our mission. How You'll Contribute:
- Build and maintain a first-class compliance and risk management program
- Ensure compliance with AML/BSA, ACH Rules, PCI and KYC regulations
- Prepare for, coordinate, and execute third-party examinations and audits, including ensuring that information requests from third-party partners and regulators are completed timely and accurately
- Draft and maintain a library of compliance policies and procedures
- Implement a testing and monitoring program to determine the adequacy and effectiveness of compliance and risk controls
- Manage regulatory engagement, including reporting, exams, and licensing
- Build, maintain, and execute fraud prevention rules for holding, delaying and releasing client payments
- Perform analysis to understand high risk behaviors and contribute to fraud detection features and models
- Remain up-to-date on relevant industry, consumer protection, and privacy laws and regulations to ensure an ongoing ability to provide sound compliance advice
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with business partners
Who You Are:
- 3+ years of payments compliance and/or financial services experience, in compliance, risk management, and/or audit roles
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
- Solid analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Comfortable with balancing multiple, competing priorities and changes in scope/direction
- Willingness and ability to learn new laws, rules, and regulations and interpret and apply them
- Ability to work independently and adaptively, anticipate and mitigate friction points, and take the initiative to promptly resolve and learn from challenges
Bonus Points:
- Experience relating to SaaS-centric issues that include privacy and security
- In-house experience at a cloud technology vendor or InsureTech company
- Relevant experience in the consumer finance/mortgage and banking space
