Dealerware’s team is currently hiring a Corporate Development Manager. We are seeking a talented, motivated Corporate Development Manager to help build out and execute on our corporate development program. This person will partner closely with the Dealerware executive team on high impact business initiatives for the company including playing a key role in market tracking, identifying and developing strategic opportunities, and business case building for strategic partnerships
As a Corporate Development Manager, you will:
- Develop subject matter expertise on fleet management and related mobility services, auto OEM and dealer group developments, and relevant partners and competitors.
- Provide regular competitive landscape analysis and reporting on industry developments.
- Partner with the executive team on strategy development and long term planning.
- Work with the CEO and EVP Corporate and Legal Affairs to evaluate and develop financial and strategic partners.
- Prepare and project-manage partnership exploration, including opportunity assessment, scenario analysis, due diligence, and internal planning.
- Partner with business and product teams in analyzing and prioritizing strategic market and partnership opportunities. Drive business case development and presentation to leadership team.
- Communicate effectively with the Dealerware executive team, board, and cross-functional stakeholders regarding the competitive landscape and strategic opportunities.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or similar settings.
- M&A or related strategic partnership experience.
- Strong financial modeling and market analysis skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to work effectively across teams.
- Experience with the auto, mobility services, and/or SaaS sectors preferred
· Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong presentation skills.
