Curriculum Developer and Trainer 

Our growing Customer Organization is looking for a dynamic, creative and forward-thinking  Curriculum Developer and Trainer to mentor and train Customer Success, Support and Professional Services teams across the world. You'll have the opportunity to develop best practices and deliver world-class training programs to support new members of our Customer team. You understand what it takes to motivate, mentor and build trusted relationships that drive results.

This role is critical to our organization as it promotes the development of our most important assets, our talent. 

 

As a  Curriculum Developer and Trainer, you'll:

• Utilize a variety of the training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of the training program, including frontal and remote teaching

• Develop and deliver new hire training for the Customer team to meet and/or exceed performance goals during their onboarding experience

• Manage continued learnings related to our total suite of product offerings in addition to best practices, processes and information about our clients and the industry

• Collaborate with existing subject matter experts on current and upcoming products, in order to contribute to the design and maintenance of current and effective training programs

• Build a network of internal and external lecturers, motivational speakers, support, services, customer success, technical and product specialists for specialized training

• Direct specific customer team training needs-assessments to support the design, development and delivery of improvements to the Customer team training programs

• Assist Customer team leaders in identifying strengths and development needs for each team member and developing curriculum to support those needs

• Work with the Customer team and HR to measure the success of training collectively, and at an individual level to reduce turnover and recruit/select best candidates for the right positions

 

Skills and Requirements

 

• 3+ years professional work experience; 1+ year in a training or coaching position

• Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver customer team training programs utilizing skills in instructional and program design & content development

• High energy, enthusiastic, motivational training style

• Strong history of executing the vision of senior management

• Self-starter with strong sense of ownership and ability to work autonomously; ability to function in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.

• Highly computer literate with in-depth knowledge of MS office and web-based systems; working knowledge of Salesforce.com, a plus

• This position will be based in Austin, TX with 15% travel
