Homelytics was founded in early 2018 by Zach Rubin & Nelson Rohrbach in Zach’s apartment’s spare bedroom. Since then, Homelytics has grown into a force in the real estate tech world. With back-end data acquired through partnerships with Wolfnet & OJO Labs, we know who the top-performing real estate agents are. The problem is that normal consumers don’t have access to that same data. They only have the information accessible to them online to make their decision on which real estate agent to use to buy or sell their home. Backed by some of the OG’s in the Austin tech & real estate space, we’ve built a platform that high performing real estate agents can use to showcase themselves in the best possible light online. We manage the 8 platforms that should matter the most to a high performing real estate agent; Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Zillow, Realtor.com, Yelp & Google My Business.
I know what you’re thinking - “I’ve seen this before. What makes Homelytics different?” Great question. Using the data, we create content on social media that consumers actually want to see on their newsfeed. How is the market doing? Is my home appreciating? How hot is the market? In addition, using normalized comparative data, we can make any agent look great online using their statistics. “Agent X negotiates 40% better than the average agent in the Austin area”.

We are looking for a jack of all trades, but we believe you’re out there! In this role, you’d be working closely with our Director of Client Success, Albert, with fulfilling some of the work our agents expect from us. This role is fast-paced, always changing, and gives you the opportunity to learn a little bit of everything. A mix of customer success, operations, and even content creation, we’d like to see someone who is willing to take on this role. You’d be a full-time member of the squad and first in line for future opportunities within our organization. Some of the day to day duties, early on, would include client support, profile optimization, QA for social media posts, and responding to client reviews occasionally. Here are the qualities we are looking for in our ideal candidate:
A self-starter. We’re a startup - and structure is minimal. We’re going to rely on you to be able to take a task, own it, listen to feedback and produce high-quality content for our agents.
An eye for design. While this is not a creative role, on a few occasions, we might ask you to hop in and help us with editing content that’s already been created.
Growth mindset. Because we’re a startup, we are in a unique position to grow together. We want this candidate to think outside the box. How can provide the most value to our client? How can we be most efficient? How can we be better?
Communication skills. Since this is a role that has a hand in everything, we need someone who communicates well. We don’t need you to tell us what you’re doing every second, but we want you to be in tune with the rest of the team and our goals.
A perfectionist. Without structure, we need someone who knows how to do something the right way, and doesn’t stop until they get there. We work with high performing real estate agents, and they expect us to make them look like high performers.
Passionate & Fun. We expect to be successful. With that, comes the opportunity to have some fun along the way. The only way we’re able to have that fun is to bring that passion for helping our clients be successful every single day.
Willingness to learn and grow
At least 2 years of professional experience
Marketing or Sales background preferred but not necessary
We work out of the Capital Factory located in the Omni Hotel in Downtown Austin. If we choose to bring you onto the team, you’d have a dedicated desk right by the rest of the Homelytics squad on the 5th floor!
