ABOUT THE ROLE


The Director of Clinical Performance is responsible for launching and sustaining NeueHealth’s clinical programs. This role implements an effective clinical oversight and monitoring methodology that includes performance improvement to meet established performance goals. The role has responsibility for the development of relationships with Care Partners to successfully deploy clinical operation processes including population health, utilization management, and quality management. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop partnerships with key stakeholders in the Healthcare ecosystem to communicate and implement clinical programs and to achieve clinical performance goals; to include, but not limited to, Care Partners, Health Plans, Hospitals, Post Acute Care Providers, and other care vendors
  • Launch and sustain clinical operations in new markets, including establishment of market-specific clinical roadmaps with Care Partners that span the functions of health optimization (population health management, quality, coding performance, accreditation, pharmacy management, and data and analytics)
  • Ability to develop documented processes to support implementation of clinical programs; to include value stream mapping and standard operating procedures
  • Ability to collaborate with analytics to support the development and maintenance of the data governance structure for clinical outcome measures 
  • Works closely with Compliance to ensure appropriate operational responses to regulatory changes and is able to update the policy repository based on state specific requirements or regulatory changes
  • Ability to support the development of a learning management structure for clinical programs. 
  • Manage a team of nurses and clinical consultants (analysts) across geographies. This includes working with nurses to ensure competencies and productivity targets are met and that nurses are working efficiently at the top of their licenses.
  • Work closely with the Implementation Manager and/or Program Managers to inform on clinical program initiatives
  • Works to leverage technology platforms for clinical programs
  • Adheres to the Policies and Procedures set forth by NeueHealth and performs all additional duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position does have supervisory responsibilities for Care Managers, Care Coordinators, Quality, and Clinical staff

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree in nursing, Business, or other related Healthcare field
  • Certified Case Management preferred
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in population health management 

LICENSURES AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Active and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
