As the Director of Global IT Operations, you will lead all IT Operations components to ensure our domestic and international solutions are reliable, available, scalable and secure. You will work daily with the business, IT team and technology partners in a 100% cloud-hosted architecture. You are responsible for maintaining a 99.95% global-system availability, along with the planning and execution of all system changes across our core technologies: SAP, Salesforce, Demandware, Fuze VoiP phones, hosted Exchange, and file storage systems. Both you and your team will learn and grow daily, in a fast-paced, constantly improving environment.

 A look at your day-to-day

  • Meet with the business daily, both in meetings and informally, to understand their business challenges and recommend both technical and non-technical solutions
  • You use your experience, and network of colleagues, to address new and known problems. You rapidly identify root causes for production issues, and organize the team efficiently to resolve the issues.
  • You are the gate-keeper for change management, access control, IT controls management, ensuring system High Availability, and Business Continuity Planning.
  • Oversight of all work performed by your organization, and ensure they adhere to IT processes, IT controls, IT security, are architecturally based, and will scale with YETI's growth.
  • Sought after by the business as a partner, teacher, problem solver and leader. You deliver sound solutions, with an emphasis on usability and end user training.
  • Manage the IT technical partnerships, ensuring our roadmaps are aligned, our solutions are meeting the agreed upon service levels
  • Provide outstanding customer service via the IT Service Desk, continually striving to improve service while maintaining expenses
  • Manage the global infrastructure, and support YETIzens around the globe, 24x7 hours a day

Now for a little bit about you….

  • Minimum of 10 years progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years of directly managing international IT infrastructure. 5 years technical experience as a DBA, system administrator or architect. Experience maintaining eCommerce solutions is a must.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, and a working knowledge of the underlying technical underpinnings of networks, MS Exchange, storage solutions, VoiP phones and managing complex enterprise systems a must. Experience with SAP and Salesforce is desired.
  • Strong international experience in deploying regional solutions, extending enterprise solutions into the international zone, supporting help desk internationally, understanding international security concerns and regulations, and understanding international privacy rights such as the EU GDPR
  • Strategic Thinker and Sound at working with technology partners, cloud providers, contract/service negotiation, and decision-making skills. Quickly evaluates SaaS and Cloud point solutions for business partners for manageability, maintaining access control, and security
  • Strong Technical Vision, and Technical Knowledge of the networking requirements of integrations to major systems and cloud-services such as eCommerce, CRM, HCM, payment processors, tax services, EDI, address validation, and shipping services. Experienced in high-quality, efficient integrated systems. Strong cloud systems and operation knowledge
  • Led major system upgrades from a change management perspective. Deep knowledge of change management, root cause analysis, problem solving, technical project management, resolving production outages/impacts, and implementing permanent resolutions for issues
  • Adept in creating finished presentations to the Executive leadership, such as IT Project Initiation/Approval, Project Statuses, IT Technology Roadmap, Budgeting, License Management, and IT KPI reporting
  • Expert in Budget Management, identifying areas for budget improvement, negotiation with vendors, and simplifying/optimizing solutions.
