Forcepoint is seeking a Director for Industrials Practice, Professional Services specializing in Critical Infrastructure Protection/Industrial Control System  Security for the Global Governments (G2) business. The successful candidate will report to the VP of Critical Infrastructure within Global Governments and will be a key member of the G2 Critical Infrastructure Team.

This role is responsible for   developing a service offering for industrial control system security as part of the Forcepoint professional services portfolio  This will include, technical offering development,  market feasibility, and proactive identification, qualification, pursuit, and management of new Critical Information Protection and ICS opportunities for select Federal/Civil, Public Sector (Airports, Ports, Energy/Utilities, and Automotive) markets/customers globally. The candidate must have the ability to be a self-starter to develop the offering and onboard qualified technical consultants to perform the services. Furthermore, they will work with the other Forcepoint CIP team members to shape the Forcepoint strategic vision around industrial Control Systems working with the product, sales and marketing team

Essential Functions:

  • Strategic planning and positioning of the Professional Services portfolio in the CIP market including business justification, stakeholder’s effected, implementation timelines, operational and technical requirements and ongoing maintenance requirements. This will include the interlock with sales, marketing, and product management with rules of engagement with strategic partners for service strategy and delivery

     

  • Ad-hoc pre-sales support for the development of new strategic relationships, helping to shape prospective customers vision for cyber security in the industrial context

 

  • Coordination with Forcepoint’s existing government and commercial professional services teams to maximize resources and service delivery efficiency

 

  • Ensure the field sales, partner and internal delivery teams are prepared with the proper education, training, tools, process and procedures to position the offering along with the portfolio of Data and Insider Threat cyber services

 

  • Management of quarterly business plans to include financial performance, organization, market conditions, forward-looking strategy and execution plans that will include monthly, quarterly and annual revenue with the ability to apply judgment and trending analysis in an effort to accurately predict performance

 

 

  • Close coordination with Sales to ensure the proper level of professional services are scoped and quoted

 

  • Responsible successfully services delivery across all Forcepoint products in the industrial/CIP market

 

  • Recruit, hire, train and provide leadership and management of a high-performance team of Professional Services Engineers and Program Managers as market conditions dictate

 

Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Successful track record in providing onsite professional services to major governments and Fortune 500 companies
  • Core understanding of applications and the information technology infrastructure required
  • 15+ years’ experience in the technology security market with at least 8 years’ experience running a professional services team
  • 10+ years’ experience in the CIP market or equivalent industry
  • Leader with ability to create a vision with proven track record for execution and obtaining established goals.
  • Bachelor Degree (Master Degree preferred)
  • Demonstrated financial analysis skills; ability to provide ROI analysis and project justification.
  • Ability to influence leadership teams and cross functional teams to effectively drive change.
  • Passionate, collaborative, results oriented leader capable of inspiring and building high performing teams.
  • Experience in implementing standards, process and procedures.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to create impactful presentations.
  • Strong organization and planning skills; strong influencing/ negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal/ relationship management skills

We are located in the North Austin area by The Domain, off of Braker between Mopac and 183. Our office patio overlooks Quarry Lake.
