Position Summary: 

The Associate Director or Director, Integrated Activation acts as a paid media partner with the client and as a leader to the strategic direction of their brands. You will contribute to driving an audience first, planning and activation agenda for communicating with the Integrated Activation, Performance Media and Analytics teams. The ideal candidate has the ability to develop a holistic paid campaign strategy across all media channels, is a leader and a manager who embraces a player/coach style, sets the working style for the group by fostering a positive, entrepreneurial team culture, and demonstrates a solid understanding of media across all channels. At the core, you are data driven in your approach and can easily identify the most effective strategies to address client needs and have a strong analytic and technical knowledge as well. 

This role requires someone who can comfortably navigate between projects and priorities while leading a book of clients and their priorities. You will maintain direct client contact and work closely with internal and external partners to ensure the day-to-day account activity is working optimally.

The Director role is responsible for managing workloads of the team reporting to you, troubleshooting concerns with clients, suppliers and partners that are raised beyond product teams. When required, the AD/D will step in to assist Directors/GDs/Managers in meeting deliverables during peak busy times and will maintain the lead on the largest projects and provide input and delegate tasks as the need arises to fulfill projects.

Critical to the success of this role is ensuring that smart, omni-channel plans are being delivered to clients and that the activation strategy is well planned. You are responsive to coordinated strategy & activation processes, both inside and outside paid media and are viewed as a highly valuable partner across all partners within the organization.

Real Chemistry has a large cohort of stakeholders so the ability to navigate a sophisticated and layered environment is paramount.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• 5-7+ years of experience with digital media planning, activation and 2+ years of progressive levels of responsibility including team management

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and comfortable communicating with senior level clients, external and internal partners

• Able to work successfully with teams, balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines under pressure

• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities and ability to prioritize projects and multitask

• Strong analytical abilities, quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency

• Ability to effectively utilize media research and reporting resources

• Understanding and experience working with ad servers, attribution models and sophisticated performance media tactics

• A ‘test and learn’, growth-driving approach to digital media is crucial

• Solid understanding base of client data management platforms, segment creation and audience targeting

• History of working with analytics, reporting and data aggregation platforms like DOMO, TABLEAU, etc…

• Experience with omni-digital channels is a requirement

• Healthcare/pharmaceutical experience a plus, or other regulated industries
