As the Director of Logistics, you are responsible for running a network of two and three sided marketplaces, building teams, new business models, and go-to-market strategies across a myriad of verticals. In this role, you will be working hand in hand with our product and data teams to design and implement the first and best in class on-demand model in the industry. 

Our ideal candidate for this role will be someone who can understand a full business cycle, how sales, operations, product, and engineering intertwine, and how we iterate on business models to establish marketplace liquidity.

What you'll be doing:

• Build and grow logistics marketplaces from scratch
• Manage a team of managers across multiple categories within the energy industry
• Develop business models and pricing structures that optimize revenue growth and EBITDA
• Research and execute operational tactics that build liquidity and adhere to the highest standards of reliability
• Ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance 
• Manage a growing team of 20+ individuals

What you should have:

• 8-10+ years of work experience, with leadership positions in operations and high growth environments
• Bachelor's degree from a top academic university
• Leadership positions within gig economy marketplaces
• Top-tier MBA preferred, but not required
• Proven ability to solve complex problems and build teams from scratch
• Prior experience liaising with senior management / executive team
• Customer driven mindset, focused on value creation
