Director Sales Enablement

The Sales and Customer Success teams encompass all things revenue, customer education, and onboarding. These teams consist of new business sales account executives, post-sales professionals, sales enablement, and sales operations that ensure our customers are set up for success through the entire customer journey.
RigUp is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Training & Enablement leader to help us take it to the next level. In this role, you’ll help our team drive ever-improving performance and productivity. The enablement function is critical to our success.

What you'll be doing
- Develop enablement and education programs for sales, on-boarding, customer success, and customer support (revenue organization), design and implement action plans, solicit feedback and measure program effectiveness
- Lead and evolve the new hire on-boarding programs for the revenue organization
- Develop, manage, and update all value & technical sales training content
- Manage and curate sales content and ensure that all information is easily and readily accessible at the point of need
- Create written, video, audio content to educate the sales teams and advance deals such as case studies, competitive information fact sheets, product collateral, and custom work
- Coordinate with the leadership to deliver ongoing training sessions
- Build a method to qualify employee understanding and comprehension of content
- Shadow calls and demos within the revenue organization to identify gaps where sales processes can be improved
- Field ad hoc content and support requests from the revenue team
- Define, track and report on key metrics that indicate sales effectiveness improvements and skill development traction
- Partner with Revenue Operations to ensure proper adoption and usage of our tools
- Define and map sales processes
- Provide feedback and coaching to the revenue org teams
- Work with Marketing, Product Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success, Sales
- Scope and provide new collateral and materials
What you should have
- 5-7+ years of experience in training, sales enablement, sales activation, product marketing, or similar roles
- 2+ years professional sales experience or one or more sales training certifications
- 3-5 years management experience
- Startup experience in a high velocity/high change environment
- Superb presentation skills – owning the room and holding people’s attention
- Excellent writing and editor skills with a keen and critical eye for grammar
- Strong familiarity with sales techniques, objection handling, and closing
- Demonstrated competency in building and presenting training content
- Skilled in facilitating interactive and informative discussions
