This position is located in Austin, TX.  

We are currently seeking a Director of Service and Delivery in Austin, Texas who is an exceptional leader with the tenacity for providing leadership, direction and mentorship to the team.  You will lead the company’s testing services division which performs hands-on testing of the world’s leading cyber security products and executes tests that include endpoint, network, data center and cloud security products.  This position works closely with many functions within the company to develop new test concepts, oversee the build out and maintenance of new test environments, support execution and maintenance of existing tests and acts as the externally facing NSS Labs point-of-contact delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships that foster a trusting, inclusive, and collaborative environment at all levels.
• Ability to lead, influence, and build consensus/alignment at all levels throughout the organization.
• Develop test execution schedules with the PMO, Sales and Test Engineers that including planning, scheduling, scope management, risk management, issue management, execution, resource management and extensive communications.
• Provide oversight of test harness build-out, certification, and test execution.
• Develop, promote, and implement best practices to deliver on and measure the effectiveness of testing.
• Maintain utmost confidentiality on all documents, correspondence, research records, information, data, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Advanced presentation, influencing, and customer relationship management skills.
• Experience presenting to C-level executives.
• Agile Methodologies.
• Ability to renegotiate priorities with appropriate stakeholders when conflicts arise.
• Ability to provide continuous improvement methodologies throughout the project management lifecycle.
• Familiar with Cyber Security or IT Ops is a huge plus.
• Competencies typically acquired through a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience to include project management work.
