The Education Services Coordinator is an important role within Blackbaud University. This team member will partner with sales teams to position and recommend appropriate training solutions to customers, based on needs identified.  Our ideal candidate is creative, energetic, and passionate about both supporting our sales teams and helping our nonprofit customers further their missions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Sales teams on qualified sales opportunities throughout the sales process
  • Participate in needs analysis and qualification calls with customers as the subject matter expert for Educational Services
  • Articulate and demonstrate knowledge of training curriculum available across Blackbaud University product portfolio
  • Based on needs identified, make specific recommendations as to the appropriate training solution for the customer and create training agenda, when appropriate
  • Act as point person and project manager for private training projects, owning and delivering all milestone tasks
  • Schedule appropriate resources for each project
  • Manage timeline and expectations of customer between purchase of private training and delivery date
  • In cooperation with management, provide coaching and reinforcement of product knowledge, new offers and sales process to junior sales associates
  • Actively manage personal backlog of private training projects until customer takes delivery
  • Actively manage and report on personal activity volume and success rates
  • Collaborate with team members to identify process innovations leading to increased efficiency of entire team

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited four-year college or university
  • 2-4 years in marketing, sales cultivation, technical support, or resource management role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Prior knowledge or experience working with or marketing/selling Blackbaud products strongly preferred
  • Project management skills – proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence others without formal authority
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
  • Bonus skills: Salesforce
