Guild is hiring an Executive Business Partner to support our CFO.

You will be the primary point of strategic leverage for the CFO and their team, serving as the central coordinator and as a Guild brand ambassador internally and externally. You’ll ensure that the CFO remains their most effective and focused on the highest impact work while navigating through their strategic priorities, meetings, and commitments with ease. The Executive Business Partner is a representative of the CFO - an ambassador and an ally in their professional and personal life.  As such, you will act as a liaison with their team,  company employees, board members, investors, and other external partners and stakeholders.

You are a sharp, experienced partner who has supported a C-suite member of a hyper growth, fast paced company. You love solving complex problems, leading simultaneous work tracks, operating both on stage and behind-the-scenes and are motivated by flawless execution.  You are known for your customer service and have the passion and talent for bringing order to chaos.

As the Executive Business Partner to the CFO you will:

  • Manage extensive array of administrative tasks: (CFO / team calendar management, draft emails, coordinate meetings and video/conference calls, and solve other administrative issues when they arise, plan and oversee complex travel); this role will also collaborate closely with our central Executive assistant team, including attending team meetings and participating in mentorship and training opportunities
  • Own strategic meeting management and project execution: (Plan and lead core team meetings and manage cross-functional workflows, influence systems and processes to optimize efficiency, prepare the CFO for upcoming meetings - collecting and preparing information for meetings with staff and outside parties and assisting with prep work that needs to be done, capturing action items and helping drive appropriate follow up)
  • Drive operational excellence and efficiency for the CFO, their leadership team their and broader organization: (lead quarterly retrospectives and OKR planning, manage Board of Directors meeting content, manage and drive continuous improvement of workflows and process/systems, own and execute core functional projects and communication)

You are a strong fit for this role if you have:

  • An SF Bay Area address is highly preferred along with the ability to meet in the SF Bay area for in person meetings up to 2-3 times per month. Willingness to travel to SF regularly may be considered.
  • Availability and willingness to travel periodically with the CFO for important internal and external events
  • Availability to have quick check-ins during off hours – sometimes on nights and weekends, and during unique travel – flexibility to any time zone working hours
  • Demonstrated experience supporting a CFO as a highly strategic partner
  • Worked for a company in growth mode, with at least 500+ employees, where there is frequent change, ambiguity, and a need to demonstrate and act with a sense of urgency
  • Internal and external client facing experience; B2C companies and management consulting firms are highly desirable
  • Superior project management skills, including driving high-quality and on-time deliverables
  • Highly proficient use of G-Suite and Slack. Experience with Asana and other project management tools are a bonus
  • Experience working with internal and external partners and ability to embrace and relate well to a wide variety of personalities, communication and thinking styles, cultures and backgrounds. You value differences and quickly find common ground, treating everyone fairly and equitably.

We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a salary range of $125,000 - $166,250, as well as company stock options.
