We are hiring a Genetic Counseling Services International Lead with a passion for providing an exceptional patient and client experience. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced international team of medical geneticists, genetic counselors, genetic counseling assistants, and a variety of marketing, commercial, and other professionals who aim to bring comprehensive diagnostic and preventive genetic testing to the world. Excellent communication skills and customer service savvy are required. Prior leadership and/or clinical operation experience is required..  

What you will do:

  • Manage hiring and coordination of onboarding for international clinical genetics care providers (including genetic counselors, medical geneticists and other health care providers) 
  • Provide support and leadership to a growing team of international clinical genetics care providers while promoting their professional growth and development
  • Oversee team metrics, capacity, scheduling and credentialing
  • Work with team leads to translate broader company goals into clear objectives for the team; ensure company processes and policies are rolled out and implemented within each international team to their specific regional requirements
  • Foster a mindset of continuous improvements to enhance team performance and efficiency while maintaining a high degree of patient and client satisfaction
  • Attend relevant meetings to stay informed of larger Invitae initiatives and increase awareness of how the international clinical team contributes to the overall success of the lab
  • Transition international clinical teams to regional leadership once specific growth parameters are met

Who you are:

  • A minimum of three years of prior leadership and/or clinical operation experience (required)  
  • Direct experience in the provision of international clinical care 
  • Flexible schedule to meet the needs of teammates in different areas of the world
