We are seeking a Global Head of Total Rewards to drive Babylon’s success by bringing your compensation and benefits expertise to our People leadership team. In this position, you will partner with Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, People Ops and Senior Leadership to understand our employees and Babylon’s needs in relation to compensation and benefits, in order to design a global best in class Total Rewards programs to attract and retain the best talent globally. As a leader with vision, we’ll look to you to balance principles and pragmatism, steer through rapid change, and get hands-on when needed to drive positive change throughout the company.


Your goal is to act as a thought partner to the Chief People Officer, bringing your knowledge and understanding of the complexity of different workforce segments (including technology, clinicians and sales organizations) to help Babylon engage and attract a critical workforce of the future.


As we continue our expansion across the USA you will play a key role in educating our People Partners, Leaders and Managers on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretations and job evaluations. By conducting a full assessment of our Total Rewards function and constantly learning about emerging market trends, you will bring strategic vision and deliver data-driven recommendations to build a global program fit for a scaling organization.


This role can be based in any of the locations across the US where Babylon operate a hub (Brooklyn NYC, Seattle, Austin TX, Bay Area SF).

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

  • Build and lead a team of compensation and benefits experts
  • Lead Compensation function to effectively evaluate, design, propose, implement, and communicate compensation strategy, philosophy, incentive programs, policies and initiatives that competitively position Babylon in the attraction and retention of talent including executive pay, sales incentive compensation and broad based employee compensation
  • Partner with our Chief People Officer to prepare/present at for Board Compensation Committee reviews
  • Manage annual compensation review cycle linking to performance management system
  • Management of the annual reward review process and all other cyclical reward activity
  • Evolve job architecture for growing business units
  • Create and drive rewards strategy that supports a diverse workforce of top talent to help achieve growth strategies.
  • Architect and execute a competitive, end-to-end Total Rewards strategy that aligns with Babylon’s overall talent agenda whilst also supporting TA with the offer process
  • Leverage knowledge of market conditions and competitive talent landscape to design tailored strategies for compensation concerning key talent segments
  • Manage external benchmarking and assessment activities to ensure Babylon’s reward practices are fair and competitive against the market. 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 10+ years’ experience in Compensation and Benefits, including equity design and Executive Compensation in a global, matrixed environment
  • Experience gained in scaling, high growth tech organizations is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability of leading through change by being a hands-on, forward thinking leader
  • Confirmed ability to build and successfully implement Compensation, Total Rewards strategies
  • You're passionate about wanting cultivate an amazing work culture at a scaling employer that is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace
  • You have a track record of effectively partnering with internal senior leaders and executive team
  • Not afraid to roll up your sleeves with the drive to build strategies from the ground up
  • You have deep analytical skills with the ability to translate data and trends into key insights and recommendations
