Miro is a globally distributed team of 600+ people and growing at a hyper growth rate. Currently we have 5 global hubs in Amsterdam, Perm, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Austin and are planning to open a few more in the coming years. We are looking for a leader that will help us build an amazing workplace experience for our global team. This role is for the person that sees him-or-herself as a strategist, designer, and executioner.

What you’ll do

• Translate Miro culture into the physical office space and related processes for all of our global hubs 
• Together with our People team, drive the development of a global ‘return to office’ strategy in a post COVID-19 world
• Lead the development, execution, and maintenance of post COVID-19 ‘new norms’ of people experiences in the physical office space 
• Develop and implement a global office technology architecture 
• Own the real estate budget and manage relationships with contractors, security, and other service providers to deliver high quality, cost effective solutions appropriate to Miro’s developing and evolving needs
• Build and lead a world-class, globally distributed Miro Workplaces team that partners exceptionally across the business
• Contribute to a strong people development agenda, including attracting world class talent, developing critical competencies, and guiding a high-performing team

What you'll need

• 10+ years in a facilities or workplace role
• Project architect or a design manager at an architect/consulting firm is a plus
• Proven track record of employee centric process and service design in the facilities space
• Managed build outs at scale
• Experience in planning, budgeting, vendor management, and project management
• Led multi-site facilities function in an early stage / rapid growth environment 
• Exceptional senior level business partnering with the proven ability to influence and lead discussions / decision making at the executive level
• High degree of empathy and proven track record of translating cultural norms into physical space and related processes
• Ability to think strategically and develop long term plans aligned to company’s culture with proven track record of operational excellence and financial discipline at the execution level
• Proven track record of building and leading a strong, empowered distributed team
