Position Summary

W2O Group is looking for a resourceful, energetic individual to join our Strategy team to continue to evolve our team’s digital marketing and communications capabilities. Our goal is to advance our client’s business objectives by defining a strategic vision, audience experience, and integrated marketing and communications plan.

You have B2C and B2B experience in developing marketing strategies and digital communications in support of product launches, customer acquisition, and ongoing relationship management. You will be responsible for leading digital experience strategy and customer journey orchestration across the organization and our cross-functional account teams. In this role you will be equal parts: strategist, marketer/communicator, and consultant.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with clients to translate business objectives and priorities into a strategic marketing plan. 
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to draw insights from market research and real world data to inform customer segmentation, targeting, and messaging.
  • Map the target audience experience and journey across all stages from awareness, consideration, and conversion and retention.
  • Work with the media team to develop an audience activation plan across email, search, social, video, and display advertising channels.
  • Partner with the brand and creative teams to ensure creative and messaging align with brand promise, audience personas, message hierarchy, and calls to action.
  • Highlight technology and operational requirements needed to activate strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Identify KPI’s and help set goals and performance expectations.
  • Leverage data and insights to drive the optimization of campaigns and to inform test & learn strategies.
  • Participate in developing and presenting strategic plans for new business opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of new capabilities and technologies and identify opportunities for clients to adopt innovative marketing approaches.

Example Deliverables:

  • Facilitated workshops to produce digital experience and audience journey maps.
  • Marketing plans that outline the targeting audience, strategic imperatives, communication channels, and key messages into a unified brand experience.
  • Testing and learning agenda that addresses business questions and uncovers optimization opportunities.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Several years of digital marketing experience across B2C and B2B (Pharma and/or healthcare industry, would be a dream).
  • We solve problems quickly in nebulous environments -- demonstrated success in an agency or startup environment is preferred.
  • Direct experience orchestrating marketing campaigns across paid, owned, earned and social. Bring your journey orchestration maps, diagrams or case studies and let's talk!
  • Familiarity with website architecture and content personalization.
  • Knowledge of MarTech platforms and digital tools, including CMS, CRM, and marketing automation.
  • Strong relationship management, organizational and project management skills.
