Position Summary: 

This role requires a leader with a strong digital background who is able to comfortably navigate between multiple projects and priorities. In this role, you will lead all aspects of the Performance Media team who specialize in programmatic and social activation as well as new platforms and services that Real Chemistry builds to deliver better solutions for our clients. You will also provide standard methodology and mentorship for the entire digital activation teams as it pertains to biddable media, evolving ad tech, partner evolution and the media landscape as a whole.

You will maintain direct client contact where appropriate and work closely with internal and external partners to ensure the day-to-day account activity is both effectively and efficiently working.

You are further responsible for managing workloads, troubleshooting concerns with clients, suppliers and partners that are escalated beyond product teams. When necessary, the GD will step in to assist Directors/ADs/Managers in meeting deadlines and deliverables during peak busy times and will maintain the lead on the largest projects and provide input and delegate tasks as required to fulfill projects.

Critical to the success of this role is ensuring that the performance and specialist activation is integrated within the overall paid media offering, is responsive to integrated organizational strategy & activation processes, both inside and outside paid media and is viewed as a highly valuable strategic partner across the organization

Real Chemistry has a large cohort of stakeholders so the ability to navigate a sophisticated and layered environment is paramount.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• 12-15+ years of experience with digital media planning, buying and 3+ years of dynamic levels of responsibility including team management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and comfortable communicating with senior level clients, external and internal partners
• Able to work successfully with teams, balancing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities and ability to prioritize projects and multitask
• Strong analytical abilities, quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency
• Ability to optimally utilize media research and reporting resources
• Sophisticated understanding and experience working with ad servers, attribution models and advanced performance media tactics
• A ‘test and learn’, growth-driving approach to performance media is critical
• Solid understanding base of client data management platforms, segment creation and audience targeting
• History of working with analytics, reporting and data aggregation platforms like DOMO, TABLEAU, etc.
• Experience with SEM, SEO, programmatic buying, site level analytics and research are an asset
