Do you have experience creating and scaling a best-in-class procurement program? Are you looking for a role where you can have an impact in contributing to a healthcare platform that puts accessible and affordable healthcare in the hands of every person on earth?

The purpose of this hands-on role is to take commercial advantage of both regional and global category spend for a fast-moving business. You will provide an expert management and advisory service to Babylon’s stakeholders and clients, being the sourcing lead. This is coupled with being responsible for strategizing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors to acquire the most cost-effective deals and to reduce procurement expenses. 

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

• Regional and global category strategy formulation, presentation, and alignment with both the global procurement team and internal stakeholders
• Ensure category management best practices
• Deliver maximum benefit from supplier negotiations and delivery of savings against revenue targets
• Manage due diligence on recent acquisitions
• Develop stakeholder mapping, sub-category sourcing plans and milestones
• Involvement in the wider Babylon Procurement team strategic projects
• Oversee supplier relationships, contract and renewal management, and performance management 
• Champion eSourcing events
• Team Management

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Proven experience in a fast-paced business environment, broadly matching or complementary to Babylon
• Background in successfully delivering results in procurement in a growth business environment
• Must have an all-encompassing category experience, coupled with benchmarking, market and sped profile understanding, and pareto analysis
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders is critical job qualifications/requirements
• Experience in healthcare is desired
