Spreetail is an ecommerce company that currently operates VMInnovations, a multi-marketplace retailer that sells thousands of awesome products through major marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, and Walmart. Spreetail is currently in the middle of building something big, new, and exciting due to launch in 2019 with a simple mission: to make customers’ lives better through exceptionally fast service, great products, and community impact.

Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, Spreetail has recently expanded into two new offices based in Omaha, NE and Austin, TX with rapidly growing teams. We currently have hundreds of employees across the company, and are searching for crazy smart, talented, visionary people.

As the Head of Vendor Management, you will:

• Leads the vendor management team. The category vendor management leadership reports in to this person.
• Sets expectations and guides the negotiation strategy with our vendors to develop the most profitable program terms. 
• Owns contribution margin and has a deep understanding of the financial levers the vendor management team can pull to improve our contribution margin. Continually drives financial awareness and improvement. 
• Works with the team on our relationship strategy with our vendors. Establishes scalable ways to develop deep vendor relationships and stay in constant communication with vendors. 
• Responsible for the vendor management team executing each category merchandising strategy with direction from the assortment team, planning and forecasting, and site merchandising teams. 
• Ensures the team is sourcing desired exclusive SKUs and developing SMU programs with key vendors.
