Identity & Access Management (IAM) Architect

SailPoint, the industry leader in Identity Security, is looking for an experienced Identity professional to help lead the company's internal corporate Identity program. The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Architect will be a key team member in our growing and impactful organization as SailPoint continues to scale globally as the industry leader in Identity Governance. This position will report to the Manager of IT Applications and will manage SailPoint's internal Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance Administration (IGA) program strategy, systems, and operations. This includes the use of SailPoint's own Identity Governance solutions to support activities such as account provisioning, role provisioning, role modeling, access certifications, and identity federation - all while leveraging SailPoint's exciting new AI-based predictive identity capabilities.
As the IAM Architect, you will ensure that SailPoint's internal users have the best experience possible as consumers of the company's internal IT applications and services. Expect to work in cross-functional teams across IT, Security, HR, Engineering, Customer Support, Professional Services, and Corporate Compliance in support of the company's IAM and IGA Program. Job Responsibilities
- Manage the company's Identity Security systems, operations, and strategy in support of SailPoint's explosive corporate growth
- Administrate IdentityNow along with the company's other identity-related platforms
- Design, implement, and manage Identity controls and structures for the company
- Manage all Identity business processes such as access reviews and certification campaigns
- Manage integrations and connectivity of third-party SaaS applications to IdentityNow
- Ensure new applications are onboarded according to IGA best-practice standards
- Administrate SailPoint's corporate SSO system along with its associated application integrations
- Help manage the company's Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM) system
- Support all Identity-related ISO27001, SOC2, FedRAMP, and SOX compliance controls
- Lead and mentor a team of Identity Administrators
- Drive continual improvement of the company's Identity systems, processes, and procedures through optimization and innovation with the goal of best-in-class operation
Required Skills
- 5-7 years of solid IAM and IGA system management experience at an enterprise level
- BS Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Deep understanding of identity management concepts, processes, and best practices
- Direct experience with SailPoint's Identity Governance products is a plus
- Experience with SSO and authentication concepts and components, including SAML, password replay, federation, two-factor authentication, and strong authentication
- Knowledge and experience with CIAM systems is a plus
- Strong grasp of access certification concepts and processes, including certification campaigns, access reviews, entitlements, campaign monitoring, and remediation
- Familiarity with provisioning concepts and integration platforms
- Experience with QA methodologies (usability testing, performance testing, automated testing, test scripts, test cases and test plans)
- Knowledge of APIs and scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, etc.) is a plus
- Experience with the following web technologies a plus: JSON, XML, SOAP and REST web-services
- Administrative experience with:
- Active Directory (preferred) or other directory services
- Office365 (preferred) or G Suite Business
- Two-Factor Authentication Systems
- Experience with user administration and access governance in ERP systems is a plus
- Familiarity with continuous delivery model and agile development processes
- Demonstrates good judgment in the selection and implementation of business solutions
- Ability to professionally and effectively communicate with business stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors to C-level executives
- Ability to work on problems of significant scope independently
- Ability to describe technical topics in a non-technical manner
- Truly enjoys delivering IT solutions and a strong desire to see the continued acceptance and success of those solutions at SailPoint
